Using general construction screws, drywall screws, or any non-structural screw can be dangerous when installing climbing holds.
GRK #9 screws have a structural rating (#8 GRK do not) and are the only screws we recommend for installing climbing holds. Safely installing holds is important with precious hands pulling pulling on these plastic grips.
All holds should be attached with socket head bolts and all available set screws.
